Corner Bombs in Pirots 4: How This Feature Works
Corner bombs are placed in each interior corner of the space station. At the start of each round, each is assigned a color, just like the birds: red, blue, green, or purple.
Play for Money
If a bird collects a symbol on a corner bomb of the same color as itself, the element is activated, but it doesn't trigger yet. It waits until the birds have collected everything they can, and then… BAM! An explosion occurs, knocking all the birds off the board and burning everything in a 3x3 square, starting from the corner where the bomb was.
At the same time, part of the space station is destroyed, and more space opens up: the game grid can grow to eight rows and eight columns. New symbols appear in the empty spaces, the birds return, and the round continues.
There's another interesting moment: when the station section in the corner is destroyed, a space portal opens there.
Birds can teleport between these portals if matching symbols are located near the portal's entrance and exit. This allows them to collect more stones, resulting in higher winnings.
How else can you detonate the Corner Bomb?
In addition to the standard activation methods, corner bombs can explode thanks to the functionCharlie’s Extra ChanceIt's triggered randomly when the birds can no longer collect symbols. A small parrot on the red bird's shoulder pulls out a pistol and shoots the bombs.
Then one to four are activatedCorner Bombs, which detonate simultaneously. After the explosion, the birds temporarily leave the field, stones fall down, filling the empty spaces, and new symbols appear. Then the birds return, and the round continues with a new layout.
